Donna first began playing the violin at age 4. She joined the Calgary Fiddlers when she was 11 and from there her fiddling career began. In her teens she entered many fiddle contests and consequently has many trophies. She attended the University of Western Ontario studying performance in violin. Donna has been teaching both fiddling and classical violin for 15 years.
