Fees and Finances For 2012

Instructor Fees

After July 1 - $350

Register early and save $50

We have tried hard to make the camp musician-friendly and to pay our instructors well. Of the $350 instruction fee, $280 is used to bring in the best instructors and musicians that we can find, and $20 goes directly to administration costs: advertising, paper, camp amenities, etc. All of the accommodation fees ( including the off-site access fee) are paid to use the (Boys and Girls’) camp facility, and the meal fees are paid directly to the camp as well.

Facility Fees

All persons over 5 years in age on camp will be required to pay a facility fee of $40. This amount is to buy a wrist-band to cover entry to concerts, coffee, campfire and dancing! This helps to pay the camp rental fee that all are using!

Accommodation Fees

We have adjusted these to better reflect the different types of accommodations available at the (boys and girls) Camp facility. For those who treasure privacy, we have made some individual areas available, for those attending with spouses, children or families, we have tried to adjust the fees to compensate for the sharing of space! However, each type has a limited number of rooms, so it’s first-registered, first-preference!

1. Staying off-site: No Charge
2. Unserviced Camping space right on the campus. (15 camper areas avail.) $110 for Monnday night through Sunday morning. But we have limited spaces. Moose Mountain Provincial Park has more camping available.
3. Bunk house space ( 7 bunk - houses) The most economical place to stay, these contain 6 - 8 bunk beds (we’ll only fill the bottom spaces!). These rooms are used during the day for fiddle groups, so participants need to keep gear on their top bunk! $30 per person.
4. Modern, shared rooms ( 10 available) in the Mother Theresa Centre or the Come ‘n See. These rooms have a double bed and a set of bunks. $260. Call to find out if there is someone willing to share.
5. Rustic forest cabins. ( 6 available) These contain one Queen bed, great for private option or a couple. We do have mattresses that could go on the floor for a child. Book the whole cabin for $150 ( $30 / day), and it is an outside walk to a bathroom.
6. Rustic, shared ( 5 available) These can accommodate between 1 - 6 people. These are 2-roomed areas that have one double bed and several bunks. Great for a family. We will billet 2 people together, or you can choose your partner. $185 for immediate family members in the “suite”.

Please remember, there are no private bathrooms, but plenty of showers / baths for all!

Meal packages!

Father Banga and his staff serve fabulous, home-cooked meals daily! We serve our biggest meal at noon. Where else can you purchase meals for $32 / day? This year, we have special prices for children under 9 years. Call us about pre-school costs.
